Patricia Cutright is Lakota, enrolled Cheyenne River Sioux and Dean of the Brooks Library of Central Washington University. She has been active in library work at the state, regional, national, and international level and has published in the areas of technology and library cooperation. Previous work has taken her to the Federated States of Micronesia where she authored a successful proposal to the Institute for Museums and Library Services ($256,000) to design and implement a library automation project for the public, schools and College of Micronesia library catalogs. She has also taught graduate level courses in library administration and management at Pratt Institute and will attend the Harvard Leadership Institute as an AILA member this summer.
